Join YNPN-Greater Milwaukee for an outdoor screening and discussion of the New Moon Productions documentary, The Promise of America. The film explores the issue of gun violence and American activism as it parallels an intimate experience of the Million Mom March. The evening will include commentary from Janet Fitch of New Moon Productions, a live drum circle, food and more!

Janet is a media activist reclaiming the public sphere for discussion of complex social topics. Her 3-part series: Guns, Grief and Grace in America and outreach inspires solution-based conversations on gun violence in the U.S. Fitch founded New Moon Productions (2000) to expand local, regional and global community thinking and actions on social issues. Local honors include: Woman of Influence
in Public Policy, Communicator of the Year and Milwaukee Activist of the Year.
