Strategic Plan 2007

For your review!

Administration

• 35% of list serv members will attend an YNPN sponsored event in 2007.
• Partnerships with two like-minded organizations will be formalized in 2007.
• The executive committee and board of directors will decide if/how an advisory council and/or mentoring program would be created.
• The committee and YNPN administration will welcome small groups to administer their own educational/networking events through out the year.

Education

• The education committee will host at least one "Brown Bag Series" on similar topics that's held over the lunch hour.
• There will be eight educational events in 2007 held on various broad topics.

Networking

• The committee will hold monthly networking events on the 3rd Wednesday or Thursday of the month.
• Most networking events will try to have at least one of the following components
• The event will be free.
• There will be a philanthropic element.
• The event will be co-sponsored with other like-minded organizations.

Marketing/Communications/Technology (Marcomtec)

• The committee will have a new, updated, and ad-free web site by April 2007.
• The committee will release the first electronic newsletter in April 2007. From there they will release one per month.
• A sub-committee will be created to develop a welcome kit to new members. This group will first meet by the end of February.
